Hilton Head offers outstanding tennis packages for players at all skill levels.

Water Sports – Surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean our island offers some of the best water sports available. Your choice of water activities includes kayaking, para-sailing, fishing, sightseeing and dolphin cruises. You can also rent a jet ski, charter fishing boat or enjoy an Eco-tour all from the beautiful waters of our island.

Bike Riding – Biking is a popular way of exploring our beautiful island. You can rent a bike for a day or by the week, ride on the beach or on one of the many bike paths that wind their way around our island. Unique to Hilton Head are the miles and miles of bike paths that are available for you to enjoy. These scenic paths are a delightful way to tour the island, it’s lagoons and wildlife. Great fun for all ages, biking on Hilton Head Island has become a favorite activity. Horseback Riding – Horseback riding is a uniquely beautiful way to explore the island’s natural beauty. You don’t need any experience to take a relaxing ride at Hilton Head. to make a reservation call Lawton stables (671-2586) or Sea Horse Forest (681-7746). Rose Hill Equestrian Center (757-5505) offers lessons training trail rides and horse shows. One-day lessons are available for riders who are here for a short period of time.

Fishing – The island offers some of the best fishing fun on the east coast. You can choose to fish from inshore, offshore or take a charter out to the gulf stream. A variety of fish live in our waters including King Mackerel, Spanish Mackerel, Shark, Wahoo, Red Drum and Sea Trout. If you prefer to stay on land you can try your luck at surf-casting or drop your line in one of the many lagoons located on our island. You will find an excellent choice of charter boats along with experienced captains at any of our local marinas including Palmetto Bay Marina, Shelter Cove Marina, South Beach Marina & Harbor Town.

Encounter an Alligator – Sea Pines is home to hundreds of American alligators ranging from 10 to 14 feet. On the inland freshwater lakes of the Sea Pines Forest Preserve come aboard our jungle safari boat to get a close-up view of the abundant plant and animal life.

Eco-Tours – Hilton Head Island is a unique environment consisting of protected wetlands, marshes, dunes & beaches. Make your stay on Hilton Head a truly unique vacation by participating in an Eco-Tour. The choices are endless: you can relax and enjoy the scenery on a dolphin cruise, take a fishing tour, witness one of our spectacular sunrises or sunsets or explore our beaches in search of a Loggerhead nest.

Coastal Discovery Museum – Touch dolphin and turtle skulls, explore the marshes, cast a fishing net, wonder among live oak, palmetto, and loblolly pine trees and enjoy a peaceful self-guided walking tour of the former Honey Horn plantation. Canoeing & Kayaking - There’s no better way to navigate Palmetto Dunes’ 11 miles of scenic lagoons than on a kayak or canoe from Palmetto Dunes Outfitters. The lagoon’s calm waters wind through the neighborhoods and golf courses of the resort, offering opportunities to commune with native birds, mammals and the Coastal Carolina ecosystem. Any morning spent on the lagoon is entertaining, informative and just plain fun. Or, choose a canoe or kayak at Shelter Cove Marina and go exploring the saltwater environment of Broad Creek.
